Fishing Links

Welcome to the Fishing Links page.

Fishing Links is a bit of a misnomer really. On this page we hope to inform you not only of links for fishing but other websites that deal with tackle, fly tying, casting, materials and others that are of particular interest.

If you find a link that is of interest or you or run your own site and want to exchange links, please contact the webmaster. Details can be found on the Contacts page.

Fly Tying Materials and Tackle
Celtic Flycraft
Celtic Flycraft, run by Welsh River and Resevoir international angler, Johnathan Williams and his wife Yolande is a local company and a long time supporter of the Association. A wealth of fly tying materials and tackle. Most of the flies displayed on this site were tied with materials obtained from them!

Another excellent site run by the 1990 World Fly Fishing Champion, Jan Siman.

He offers many specialist materials including items particularly for Czech nymphing.

A wealth of knowledge, he also runs a forum that discusses in detail Czech nymphing techniques. (See the Forums page)

Fly Tying
Jean-Paul Dessaigne

Jean-Paul Dessaigne hosts one of the best websites that we have seen for fly tying on the web!

It contains many images, tips and videos on how to tie numerous patterns including flies for Salmon, Trout and Saltwater species.

Fishing
Sea Trout Fishing

This site, hosted by Paul Hopwood, is mainly aimed at giving those anglers that are struggling, a helping hand to catch fish! It contains a wealth of information from reference to fish art, from organisations to tackle reviews and flytying!

If you can't find what you're looking for, contact Paul Hopwood via his website or on the Seatrout fishing forum.

Angling Worldwide

Angling Worldwide are a primary source of worldwide angling opportunities, be you from the UK looking for a package within the UK or further afield, or from outside the UK looking for a package within the UK or elsewhere - all will, and can be catered for. They specialise in providing individually tailored angling packages complimented with prices that make them a market leader. In addition to the fishing package holidays, they have an original and limited edition selection of photographs for sale, corporate packages, lessons, and vouchers on offer. They also arrange special day-trips for loved ones (ideal gifts), and can work a day’s fishing into a pre-set itinerary - e.g. you may be on holiday with the family, and want to escape for just one day, not a problem they can arrange it.

SewinFly guided fishing adventures is hosted by one of the Ogmore Angling Association members, Spencer John.He can provide a tailored and personalised angling service whether you're a beginner of experienced angler. Check out his website to see what's on offer!
