Fishing Clubs |
Welcome to the Fishing Clubs links page. On this page, you will find links to like minded Angling Clubs, Associations and Societies that have a presence on the web.
You will find them all varied and interesting with much information relating to the waters they control and what species of fish inhabit them. It would be pointless to list all the points that they address.......so why not go and see them for yourself?
If you are a webmaster, Club, Association, or Society secretary and would like to have your website listed below, please see details on the Contacts page. |

The Gwent Angling Society was founded in 1964 to fish waters controlled by the now known Monmouthshire County Council (formerly Gwent County Council). The Society controls two beats of the River Usk.
The Usk is a premier Salmon and Brown Trout river and both beats are situated in particularly beautiful and scenic areas of the Usk valley. The Society prides itself on its friendliness amongst members and is committed to preserving fish stocks and the environment.
An excellent site with many articles, an active forum and excellent fly tying sequences.

The Carmarthen Fisherman's Federation represents the interests of over 15 Angling Clubs as well as private owners.
Much of their work revolves around the fisheries habitat rather than directly to fishing. In recent years, the Federation have taken steps to ensure the continuation of migratory fish in the member Angling Clubs waters by instituting a brood stock collection program.
This link lists all the Clubs that are affiliated to the Carmarthenshire Fisherman's Federation |

The Teifi Rivers Trust website details the many projects that the Trust will be endeavouring to undertake in the years to come.
Some of the projects include protecting the environment from invisible pollutants and promoting invertebrate growth, encouraging varied groups from among the communities along the Teifi valley to get involved with and promote habitat improvement and more importantly, encourage the anglers and conservations of tomorrow by involving children through open days and events. Take a look! |

The Pembrokeshire Anglers Association is a long established fishing association that owns and leases approximately 15 miles of prime fishing on the Western Cleddau River and its tributaries. The PAA's waters stretch from the fast flowing upper reaches to the tidal areas above Haverfordwest.
The Association caters for disabled and the more able bodied anglers. The River runs through some of the most beautiful and unspoilt scenery in Wales and has some of the most breathtaking coastline in the country only minutes away. |

| Dart Angling Association |
All of us take a holiday during the summer months. Some of us travel overseas, others stay at home. Many of us, from South Wales travel to Devon and Cornwall for our summer holiday and dread leaving the River expecially during the best months! If you do visit Devon on your summer holidays, why not pack your rods and visit the River Dart?
Dart Angling Association has Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout fishing on some nine miles of the beautiful river Dart in Devon, with a mixture of single and double bank fishing. On their website you will find information useful to both members and visiting anglers. For the latter there is section on obtaining a day ticket to fish their water.
Take a look at the website. Who knows? You might convince the wife and kids to forego Spain this season, err......we mean this year ! |
